Snow
All this talk about a huge snow storm. My thoughts on it. We will get about 8 inches of snow with a little ice.

Update from School
So here I am, just sitting quietly next to my friends. I'm not really sure what to say, so this will be about my day. It started off with first period, my assistant ship with Mr. Seibert. Everything went really well. Right now I'm just refilling the unknown lab containers. Some of the colors are really neat, the bright orange, neon yellow, dark shinny blue, and then there is the usual...white. Then rolled around second period, math with Mr. Lamping. We had taken a test on Thursday and we had just gotten our results back. I ended up getting an A on it and was very excited, only .2 away from a 98%. Next came third period, Peer Tutor. This is my favorite class of the day because I get to work with the special needs kids. They always make my day, the smile on their faces and their energetic attitude. Fourth period is next, boring as usual. There are only four girls in the class and I don't sit by any of them. So I just sit there and make web pages... boring. But actually it's kind of hard to memorize all of the code for it. Then comes fifth, physics, this is definitely not my favorite class. And that has been my day so far. Boring, I know, but hey look on the bright side... school is almost out for the day, until tomorrow at 7 50 rolls around.

Ariel Tweto
You may be wondering why I have a video of wipeout on here. Well, your answer would be because I love to laugh and wipeout makes me laugh every Thursday night at 8 pm on ABC. This little clip makes me laugh because how could she really miss that 30 foot pole right infront of her..... I don't know. And the thing is, she runs around it! Oh man, gotta love Ariel Tweto. haha

Hooked
As I started to read this paper, I wasn't to excited to read it. I liked the description but that was all. As I continued to force read this paper I started to enjoy it more. While I was reading I found myself thinking, "What's going to happen next!" This is an excellent example of how to use mood in a paper and write it well. It goes from a child just playing around catching fish, into a hobby that they now enjoy and continue to do still to this day. The author also put in some shocking things such as ," That week my mom got a call from one of the neighbors that most of the boathouses had been burglarized and irreplaceable lures had been stolen." This was a shock to me because I thought, "Who would do such a thing," but then realized people can be jerks sometimes.
My first impression of this paper just wasn't to excited, just more of a hurry up and read it and move on. Then as I moved through it I actually got "hooked". I felt almost if I had been there with them and was experiencing the same feelings as them. I'm happy to know that it was "Just a phase" and that now they continue this phase on.
